WJ Groundwater expands into Canada!

WJ Groundwater is very proud to announce that it has opened a new office in Canada. The new team will be based in Toronto, Ontario in the east of the country. This news cements our reputation as a global dewatering specialist on the rise. We already have a number of projects in development in the region too.

Over the last 30 years, WJ Groundwater has been involved in some of the largest infrastructure schemes across the UK, Europe and the Arabian Peninsula. WJ Canada now brings our brand, heritage and reputation to a thriving and dynamic market on another continent. We have been fortunate to recruit some highly skilled and qualified experts to our company that know the Canadian culture and its national dewatering industry.

Introducing:

Tony Tomory
Operations Director

As Operations Director, Tony is responsible for the commercial and operational aspects of WJ’s Canadian operations. Tony’s previous experience includes 3 years in as a Senior Consultant at PwC Canada. There, he consulted clients in the Mining, Construction, Oil & Gas, Manufacturing and Utilities industries on operational improvement and strategy.  Prior to his work at PwC, Tony worked as a Geotechnical Engineer for 4 years at Golder Associates carrying out design work and construction monitoring for the Civil and Mining industries.

Kevin Moeun
Project/Site Engineer

Kevin worked for Fluor Canada for 3 years as a Process Design Engineer in Training, and for the Canadian Nuclear Safety Commission for a summer as a technical student. Kevin graduated from Queen’s University in Kingston, Ontario with a degree in Chemical Engineering.

Ravi Godara
Site Engineer

Ravi holds a bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering from the prestigious Fleming College. He has gained experience in variety of roles throughout Canada including drilling projects across Exploration, Environmental and Construction.
